Our HP-2 Special Needs Helmets are a simple, effective way of protecting the head & can help reduce injuries caused to people who are at low to medium risk from minor falls or repeated knocks & impacts. It has the option of additional protection by using add-on “bumper” pads.

This helmet benefits from increased airflow and cooling due to its “semi-open” top, which comprises of padded trapezoidal sections that are adjustable, allowing a more comfortable fit and allowing air to enter and leave the helmet – aiding temperature regulation.

The leather outer is more resistant to damage sustained from scrapes, impacts and daily wear & tear. It is a great alternative to the cotton version due to this longer lasting leather outer layer.

Lightweight helmet and better head protection

The HP-2 Special Needs Helmet in leather outer is exceptionally light and is comfortable even when worn for long periods.

It provides protection for those who are at low to medium risk of injuries to the head from knocks, bumps & falls. With the option to upgrade the impact protection by adding bumper pads at the front, rear or both.

The helmet has an adjustable chin strap as a standard that offers excellent hold and comfort and stays secure on the head, even during a fall.
