Who We Are
Adapt A Home has been operating for over 15 years in the UK. We have helped many people regain their mobility, freedom and confidence over the years and enabled them to live an active life, aided by our equipment.
Our product portfolio includes ceiling track hoist systems, standing and mobile hoists, curved and straight stairlifts, standard and low hospital/community profiling beds and mattresses and specialist seating solutions.
Our other vital products include patient re-positioning systems, bathing/toileting equipment and specialist head protection/helmets & hats to help prevent harm from falls or medical conditions or for those with special needs.
Many of our products are also provided to local authorities and the NHS in the UK.

If you need head protection for yourself or a loved one, we have a range of models designed to protect the head from harm from impacts, falls & harm.
Our range is hand made for you and offers options to upgrade your protection with easy to fit additional protection if required. Our helmets are available in cotton or hypoallergenic non toxic, long lasting leather.
Stair chair lifts (stairlifts) and domestic home lift installations
We supply & install stairlifts (Stair chair lifts) across the UK. We only provide high-quality UK or European stairlift brands that are highly efficient, safe and have the features that you will need. We also offer extended warranties, breakdown response, service & maintenance packages with all of our stairlifts.
We also provide home lifts which can transfer the user vertically to another floor of their home. These are domestic versions of passenger lifts that you see & use in most multi-storied buildings.
We offer a free home survey, consultation & quotation for all of our home lift systems.
Fitted & mobile patient hoists
We install ceiling track hoist systems at home for those who cannot transfer themselves from a bed, shower or chair.
We also provide portable/mobile hoists which are small, portable & compact and ideal for home use.
Profiling hospital beds & mattresses for pressure care
If you are suffering from a medical condition or illness, it is highly likely that you would benefit from having a hospital-style bed at home that allows for repositioning and allows you to be cared for.
If you are going to be in bed for long periods then you may also benefit from a mattress that is going to relieve any pressure and reduce the chances of pressure injuries.
As well as profiling hospital beds for home, we provide a range of foam & alternating air cell mattresses that are ideal for profiling beds.
