HP-2 Special Needs Helmet in Cotton finish is a comfortable & lightweight soft helmet. With additional add-on options including front or rear “bumpers” and a padded chin guard that help to provide additional protection if needed. As standard the HP-2 has ample padding around the circumference and is extended over the occipital area at the back of the skull to protect from rearward impacts. It also has padded trapezoidal panels at the top of the head which can be tightened or loosened to provide the best fit. The small gaps between these panels allow airflow, which helps to regulate temperature and the cotton lining helps to wick moisture away from the skin. This head protector is suitable for those who need protection from low to medium force impacts to the head. For those who need more protection, look at our HP-3 to HP-5 models, which are designed to protect from hard impacts.

Better head protection with the HP-2 Special Needs Helmet (Cotton)

The HP-2 comes with a built-in adjustable chin strap for optimal hold and comfort, ensuring it remains firmly in place, even in the event of a fall or impact. There are multiple fastener types available depending on your needs ranging from a simple buckle to magnetic locks with key. A padded chin protector can also be added to the chin strap and can help to reduce the effect of a forward fall or impact. These chin protectors can be ordered in multiple sizes.
