HP-1 Special Needs Helmets are comfortable & lightweight (less than 100g) and are effective in reducing impacts to the head. These lightweight, soft helmets offer impact protection around the head and there is the option of ordering a semi-open or closed top construction. The semi open top still provides some protection, with the advantage of allowing airflow and cooling. The closed top version provides additional protection to the top of the head.
These special needs helmets are ideal for toddlers and infants, they can also be used by adults who need simple protection against knocks, bumps & minor falls.

The HP-1 Special Needs Helmets provide a simple and effective solution head protection against everyday knocks, scrapes, and bumps.Designed with versatility in mind, this soft helmet is available in both “semi-open top” for greater breathability & airflow or “closed top” configurations. Providing you enhanced protection against impacts from above, front, back, and sides, effectively resisting knocks from various angles.
Lightweight yet Effective Head Protection
The HP-1 Soft Helmet is exceptionally light (approx. 100g)Although light its high-density foam filling it is highly effective at protecting from impacts around the head.The rear construction of the helmet extends over the occipital area providing protection from rearward impacts to the headAdjustable chin strap offers excellent hold and comfort for a secure head protection.The internal cotton lining of the HP-1 gives excellent moisture transport (wicking) for comfort when worn for long periods.
