The HillRom Liko Multirall Ceiling Track Hoist is an easy-to-move, portable overhead lift ceiling track hoist that can also be used for room-to-room patient transfers. The Multirall can be installed on a rail system in two different ways.

Hang Multirall in a carriage directly on the rail system. It works exactly like a conventional overhead lift.
Mount it the other way, with the lift strap attached to the carriage. Then Multirall becomes readily portable. In addition, it enables room-to-room transfers with only one lift unit.
A trolley accessory is available for institutions with multiple rails systems, which makes the Multirall very easy to move and store when not in use. It can be used with the Freespan Gantry Hoist as well as a conventional ceiling hoist track.

Ceiling track hoists

A ceiling track hoist is usually fitted directly onto a ceiling above the area required. If a ceiling cannot support the user’s weight, then the weight can be transferred down the walls into the floor by using particular support legs fitted flat against the walls. The system comprises the rail and the cassette (the assisted transfer itself). Ceiling track hoists are generally wired into the main supply and are constantly charged.
